Have you ever thought of making your very own Christmas cards? I will show you three simple, unique and classy watercolor Christmas cards you can easily make at home.
My classes are geared for people who have never picked up a brush before or beginners with some experience that want to learn more about watercolor. I will teach you some simple and basic skills to help you get comfortable with your brushes and watercolors. By the end of the class, you will be pleasantly surprised with what you can create with those simple techniques and a little hand-holding from me.
The class includes all the supplies you need that you get to take home, so you can continue painting on your own and make more beautiful cards. We will cover a quick review of color theory, and then we will jump right into brush techniques, color washes, a little drawing and a few other simple techniques.
You will go home with some special handmade Christmas cards you can give to your loved ones.
Impress your family and friends with your creations.
I will provide watercolor paint and brushes that you can use during class.
Each workshop includes:

I am a Southern California local and a proud momma of three. I am a watercolor artist, surface pattern and graphic designer. I work primarily with Photoshop and Illustrator. A few years ago, I’d never thought of calling myself an artist, let alone being commissioned to work on several pieces of watercolor and acrylic paintings for private clients.
Having a degree in Computer Science and having worked in the IT corporate environment help me understand the pressure and stress that come with it and how important it is that we find a way to destress and relax. As a young computer analyst, I appreciated the precision and consistency of numbers and codes, but when I became a mother, I learned to improvise and embrace the whimsical, artistic, and spontaneous. I have grown to thoroughly love both its meticulousness and creative freedom, both of which I could not truly appreciate without my years as a programmer and mother. Even before I ever touched a paintbrush, I was always able to find a way to do this through various crafts, reading, etc. But now that I have been painting and working with Adobe Creative Suites for several years, I realize how calming, relaxing and beneficial these activities can be.
